American Foul Brood Paenibcillus larvae has been identified in East Cork thanks to the vigilance of a local beekeeper there. No county is free from AFB and monitoring bees and brood twice a year (going into winter and coming out of winter) is a must. So we devote one full inspection to a health check at the prescribed time of year.
